SUMMARY:

The Sales Engineer/Regional Sales Manager grows the sales of the Leuze products within their assigned territory. You will develop sales with Key Accounts, System Integrators, and End-Users whilst supporting the Distribution sales channels. This position requires technical aptitude, sales know-how and good interpersonal skills.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a sales business plan for the assigned territory
  • Develop sales with End-Users, System Integrators and Key Accounts
  • Provide market and competitor information to Product Management
  • Attend Regional and National Trade Shows when required
  • Utilize post-sales and service structure to support customers
  • Develop and support Distribution sales and team
  • Document all sales activities in CRM

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

  • MS/BS/Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree with appropriate experience
  • 5+ years of relevant sales experience plus Electronics/Mechanics and application knowledge required
  • Ability to understand networking mechanisms and transfer skills between customer/Leuze demands
  • Ability of diplomacy, conflict resolution and intercultural social competence plus negotiation skills
  • MS Office and CRM/Opportunity Management required
  • Travel 20% overnight travel within sales territory
  • Ability to lift products or equipment up to 50 pounds


WORKPLACE EXPECTATIONS:

  • Work schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some overtime required or the ability to attend meetings and events after normal business hours.


COMPENSATION:

  • The base salary for a regional sales manager will range from $85K to $95K CAD, depending on experience and performance metrics. The total compensation package also includes a generous bonus/commissions structure, in addition to the base salary.
