Cyber Security Account Manager - NYC

Position Overview: As an Account Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the company's growth by acquiring new clients and expanding our market reach. Your mission will be to identify and pursue strategic opportunities, penetrate new markets, and win business from competitors. ***Looking for an account manager that has sold large ASP deals around $300K+ with a track record of selling to Fortune 500.***


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients through proactive prospecting and lead generation activities.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand prospective clients' needs, challenges, and pain points.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and acquire new business.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders.
  • Leverage your expertise in cyber security and networking solutions to articulate the value proposition and differentiate our offerings from competitors.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to tailor solutions to meet client requirements and exceed expectations.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure new business opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts to senior management.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of enterprise software field sales experience
  • 5 + years sales experience in Network Security, NDR and other Cyber Security software solutions – Big Plus
  • Experience selling Network Security products to Enterprise and SASS Customers
  • Understands complex sales cycle with multiple constituents, POC process etc.
  • A quantifiable track record of success demonstrated by territory/professional growth
  • Track record of opening new accounts as well as selling into existing Enterprise customers
  • An overall understanding of our technology, market, and client profile
  • Track record of exceptional funnel build and quota achievement
  • Drive to succeed, established customers and contacts, and territory knowledge
  • You will need the skill to independently, work with large, complex accounts
  • Hunter with the ability to source, pursue and close new business
