Job Title: Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst

Role Summary:
As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's IAM program. You will be responsible for administering user accounts and access privileges, ensuring that the right individuals have appropriate access to resources. Your daily tasks will involve working in the IAM team, troubleshooting and resolving IAM issues, participating in projects and initiatives, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand access requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer user accounts and access privileges in the organization’s identity management system.
- Collaborate with the IAM team to ensure appropriate access to resources.
- Handle day-to-day administration of the IAM system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM issues promptly.
- Participate in IAM projects and initiatives to enhance system functionality.
- Work with internal customers, business analysts, and application teams to understand access requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for the IAM program.
- Participate in IAM audits and review access control reports to identify potential risks.
- Provide training to new users on the IAM system.
- Update and maintain the IAM system according to changes in business needs.
Duties:
- Manage user accounts and permissions in the identity and access management system.
- Grant or deny access to company resources based on user role and privileges.
- Create and manage user groups in the identity and access management system.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to identity and access management.
- Monitor user activity in the identity and access management system.
- Report on identity and access management system activity.
- Identify and address identity and access management issues.
- Collaborate with the IAM team to resolve identity and access management problems.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IAM best practices.
- Document IAM processes and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) – Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Have 1+ years of experience in Identity and Access management or related field.
- Excellent communication and project administration skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with IAM concepts and best practices.
- Knowledge of IAM software such as Microsoft Active Directory.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets and word processing software.
- Self-motivated and capable of working effectively with some supervision.
- Can build professional relationships and has great communication skills.
- Have a solid customer-focused mindset.
Work Schedule:
- 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs.
