- Capable of technical communications with subject matter experts to resolve configuration / health issues for assets.
- Able to follow documentation and standard operating procedures to ensure checks are being done in a consistent manner.
- Has strong time management skills to ensure Daily, Weekly, and Monthly tasks are completed on time.
- Experience in building queries in Oracle to extract data.
- Strong scripting or Java skills to automate jobs.
- Reviewing and promoting changes in a file integrity monitor. This will involve:
- Following up with teams that are responsible for providing business justifications for changes.
- Ensuring the Business Reason makes sense for why the file(s) changed.
- Promoting the changes with the Business Reasons received.
- Escalating in cases where a change is unknown or a business reason is not received.
- Reviewing reports from a variety of systems (File Integrity Monitoring, Vulnerability Scanner, etc.) to ensure assets are:
- Configured properly in their respective tools
- In a healthy state
- Completing scheduled jobs properly
- Undergraduate Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or Computer Science, or 4 years of equivalent experience in Information Technology
- 2-4 years experience with Windows or Unix systems
- 1-2 years experience with ticketing applications relating to information technology
